Food

Well, I'm back on a health kick again. After 2 months of eating junk, fast food and sugar sugar sugar, my doc gave me the food lecture and kicked me back into gear. My bloodwork was actually great and I'm very fortunate to have that. Some people don't. So here's a list of pills I'm now taking daily:

omega 3, 6, 9 twice daily
actos cranberry pill twice daily: for urinary health
B12 dots-many daily
iron: anemia
multivitamin
melatonin: helps with sleep pattern and getting a better sleep
birth control
zoloft

The only things abnormal about my bloodwork were that 1) I'm LOW on B12 and B12 helps with energy, concentration, memory....hummm and 2)my urine has protein in it! Weird. Doc thinks its all the aspartame I eat/drink. She said it can crystalize in your renal tubules allowing protein to spill through. So I went out and got splenda and havent drank a coke zero in 6 days!!!!! Thats unreal for me; I'm craving the burn so bad. It has helped that Jay gave up cokes with me so I wouldnt be tempted. What a sweetheart. Seriously, he's dying too!

I've been eating 6-7X a day and not really worrying about calories just yet. Just trying to eat balanced. Good carbs, good veggies and trying to eat fruit. I'm not a fruit eater at all! I could go weeks without a fruit and could care less; I prefer my veggies! I'm odd. So I'm going to try to eat at least 1 fruit a day. So far I have been failing miserably due to the fact that there is no fruit in the house.

Here's a list of the Most Nutritious Vegetables (I know yall are SO interested)
